Questions from our Customers

Often we get email questions from our customers regarding their recent or past jewelry purchases. These questions range from jewelry care to replacement of damaged items to how to match the right jewelry with the right outfit. Here are some recent emails that represent typical questions that we often get and our responses.

Alterations

Q: Recently I special ordered the Isadora earings. I love them, but they are a littler longer then I remember. Could they be sent back to you to be altered (shortened) a bit. I love them and can't wait to show them off.

A: It is no problem to shorten them for you. Carefully wrap them and send them to our mailing address. Make a notation on how long (or short) you would like them to be, and we will fix and resend. We're very happy that you love them!

Alterations can be done as part of the initial order or even after you've gotten them home and decided they either aren't as you remember or perhaps doesn't quite work with that special outfit you envisioned.

Broken or Damaged

Q: Recently, I was at a wedding wearing one of your pieces, and my grandson, sitting in my daughter's lap next to me, grabbed my necklace. By the time we got him to let go, he had broken apart one of the connections and had bent another part. We did find the stone that fell off. Can I send it to you to be fixed, or do I need to take it to a local jeweler?

A: Any piece can be returned to us to be fixed. Depending on the severity of the break, a nominal fee may apply.

Replacement Earring

Q: While in San Antonio this week, my husband and son purchased a lovely earring/necklace set for me. When we returned to the hotel after dinner, one of my earrings was missing. We called/looked everywhere but could not locate it. Is it possible to have another made or purchase another set? Please help! I love them!!!

A: First, we were so sorry to hear you lost an earring; we know that is distressing. However, we are very pleased to hear that you enjoy our work. We would be happy to make a replacement for you for the cost of a single earring. The easiest thing to do would be for you to send us the remaining one, and we can send out a new pair. That way we can make sure that the stones will be matched.
